 YIN YOGA, RESTORATIVE YOGA, AND YOGA NIDRA

 

Yin Yoga uses gravity, time and breath to bring energy and length to the deep, connective structures of the body – fascia, tendons, ligaments - and strength to the bones. 

Restorative Yoga allows the body to rest over props such as blankets and pillows, in order to reset the immune system through deep relaxation.

Priscilla will offer easy, gentle postures from both Yin and Restorative Yoga to ready the body for Yoga Nidra, which Shannon will guide. Yoga Nidra, or The Sleep of the Yogi/ni, is a systematic method of inducing complete mental, emotional and physical relaxation. All three of these forms of Yoga are suitable for all practitioners.
